This time we are at "Sandpatch" to complete Part Four of the series. Today we will visit a couple of locations along the East Slope of the legendary "Sandpatch Grade" on the CSX Keystone Subdivision in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Today is June 25, 2011 and we are once again railfanning the CSX Keystone Subdivision and are deep in the Allegheny Mountains on a overcast and cool summer weekend. As I have previously documented areas in, and around Pennsylvania, let me present yet another In a continuation of day trips from centered from Bethlehem, Pa. The intent of these videos are to showcase extremely nice railfan locations that can be found not far from main roads for the most part in Pennsylvania and/or nearby surrounding states. In this segment, I've captured six trains over the course of covering two locations. We start out in the morning hours in Fairhope, Pa. near Fairhope Road crossing. Visitors should note that getting ther the CSX crossing at Fairhope Road Crossing a little tougher. Although easy to find with a GPS, knowledge of the area or good geodetic map is suggested. Overall, this is a great location to visit...!! This is yet another location I highly recommend any railfan visit one of these days...!!
