Tip 5 - Micro photography. If you can interface that camera with a microscope, you can get some positively crazy images. Or, stack up a bunch of close-up magnification and try your hand at turning salt crystals into surreal imagery.

Tip 6 - insurance Photos. Ok, maybe a bit boring, but you and your friends and relatives will thank you. Take a combine hours and touch and photo everything of value, with a full shot or two if each item of value, accompanied by a shot of the identifying marks - builder model or serial number. Then burn a Cd or Dvd and store it off site. If you have a fire or other loss, this could save the owner thousands of dollars.

Once on I-75, Disney World-bound travelers head south past Ocala, Florida to Florida's Turnpike, which cuts southeast towards Orlando and I-4.

Scott Arboretum - Route 320 north from I-95
The 300-acre Swarthmore campus is advanced to be an arboretum, established in
1929 as a living memorial to Arthur Hoyt Scott, Class of 1895. Stop in the office to

miles and easy going on level dirt through a shady forest. The trailhead is within 20
feet of the college sign at the entry parking lot. The trail is extremely paw-
friendly and often padded by pine straw. In increasing to the easy-to-follow main
trail, there are some forks where you can expand your canine hiking day. Enjoy a
stroll through the 250-acre campus after you conclude the Bear Trail.

Cornell University - Ithaca, New York

According to the arboretum brochure, "The name Plantations was coined by Cornell
University professor freedom Hyde Bailey (1858-1954), who is often called the father
of American horticulture. Bailey understood a plantation to be 'a large group of
plants, especially trees, under cultivation.'" The Plantations welcome visitors year-
round, are free and open sunrise to sunset. Dogs are allowed.

The trails are divided in the middle of cultivated collections and natural areas, spread
across rolling terrain. The natural areas contain over 3,000 acres of diverse habitats
- bogs, fens, gorges, glens, meadows and woodlands - as trails roughly trace Falls
Creek. Nearby, an additional one four miles of woodland trails beckon in Sapsucker Woods,
maintained by the Cornell Ornithology Department, by dogs are not permitted in
this sanctuary.

Clemson University - Clemson, South Carolina

Many citizen have no problem with this experience; they want to get where they need to get, and it matters not at all that they do not know where they are or, really, how they got there.

Of course, like most everybody else, I use this super-efficient, more-or-less reliable, Gps-guru advent to go somewhere new all the time. For example, I recently drove a rented car from Philadelphia to visit the battlefield monument in Gettysburg, Pa. The "Gps Lady" took me right there efficiently, even exactly into the excellent parking lot. But I had not looked at a real map before I left, so, although I was where I wanted to be, and hadn't even been thrown into obscuring by all the detours in uptown Gettysburg, I still could not feel where I was, except I was there, but where was that there at? This became especially annoying through the afternoon, as I encountered more and more references to geography and communities of the surrounding counties that had some role in the unfolding of the three-day battle.

So, I could learn that general Longstreet did such and such here, because the exhibit showed me that, but I could not expand my awareness and curiosity to step into what general Meade did when he moved from over there, to someplace that was off the map at the Visitors' Center.
